Educational services
Mandy can offer a range of specialised services tailored to meet your institutions needs. Our approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions.
Individuals
Individual art therapy offers a safe, confidential space for pupils to explore emotions and experiences through creative expression. Sessions usually last 50 minutes and are tailored to the individual child’s needs. A minimum of 8 sessions is usually recommended to support meaningful therapeutic progress.
Pre‑bereavement and Bereavement
I have experience working therapeutically with individuals, children, and families experiencing pre‑bereavement and bereavement. My work supports people as they navigate loss, anticipatory grief, and the complex emotions that can arise before and after a death. Using a sensitive, relational, and trauma‑informed approach, I offer a safe space to explore feelings, strengthen coping, and support adjustment during times of significant change.
Small Groups
Art therapy groups provide a supportive space for pupils to explore emotions and build confidence through shared creative processes. Groups usually run with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 students, allowing for both individual expression and peer connection. Sessions are carefully structured and delivered in a safe, therapeutic setting. A minimum block of sessions is recommended to support emotional wellbeing and group cohesion.
Teenagers
We also specialise work with teenagers experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, friendship or family difficulties, school pressures, self‑esteem issues, and periods of change or transition. Sessions are paced sensitively, respecting each young person’s need for autonomy, privacy, and trust.
